Power should be turned off and on in real time, but CPU issues the command in non-real time (3/3)

January 7, 2025

To sum up what we’ve said so far, it will look like the picture above.

1. The top-level CPU system mapped to O/S is too busy to respond in real time. Work non real time.
2. The Sub system software and the Sub system mapped to it do not have the authority to control the power because malfunctions may occur due to conflict with O/S.
3. The IP or hardware system that is subject to power control will lose data, so it does not have the authority to control the power.

However, the IP or target hardware does not have the authority to control the power, but it knows exactly which section is being operated. It is the only system that has information about the operating sections. However, even if this information is transmitted to the O/S or control system, which is the decision maker, there is no system that can control it in real time.

The parent system has authority but is too busy to control it in real time, and the subsystem has no authority and only information.
Here, how do you configure it to have real-time power control?

Non real time으로 일합니다.
