얼마전, 좋아하는 일러스트레이터의 2026년 달력을 구매했습니다.👩🎨🗓️
소량 판매라, 매년 작가가 인쇄 업체에 직접 연락해서 제작을 하는데,
처음 디자인한 대로 제품이 나오는 경우는 거의 없다고 하네요.
색이 다르게 나오는 건 흔한 일이고, 직접 보고 정한 종이도 달라지는 경우도 있고,,🔆🔅
인쇄 업와의 소통에서 오는 고통이 창작의 고통보다 크다는 하소연을 들으면서 소통이 얼마나 어렵고, 중요한지 새삼 느끼게 됩니다.
반도체 설계도 마찬가지, 아니 더 심하다고 하는데요,,
그 마흔두번째 이야기 시작합니다.🎺🚀

Recently, I bought a 2026 calendar from one of my favorite illustrators. 👩🎨🗓️
Because the prints are produced in small batches, the artist contacts the printer company directly every year to handle the production.
But she told me that the final product almost never comes out the way she originally designed it.
Colors turn out differently, the carefully chosen paper gets swapped for something else…🔆🔅
Listening to her say that the pain of communication with the printer company is greater than the pain of creation itself,
I was reminded once again of just how difficult and important communication really is.
Semiconductor design is no different. In fact, many would say it’s even worse.
And with that, the 42nd story begins. 🎺🚀
